A bride who was bitten by a venomous spider on her honeymoon is is lucky to be alive.
Victoria Ross, 32, was with husband, Brian, 33, when she was biten on the right leg by a 1cm-long violin spider on July 4 in Jamaica.
The account executive from Bingley, West Yorks, was left with an swollen and red raw leg covered in pus-filled boils.

Newlywed Ms Ross endured 13 tortuous days in hospital and was warned that she might lose her leg.

You spelled ‘bitten’ and ‘spider’ wrongly in the title. Your title says someone hit her with a ‘spider’.. not that something took a bite into her.
